It’s your last change to catch Musician’s Corner and the East Side Hootenanny for the summer and Craft Beer Week is going strong! There are way too many things on this agenda that you’ve never been to, so get after it!

  • Musician’s Corner Spring 2014 Season Closer at Centennial Park at 12pm Noon (FREE) – Featuring Charles Walker, Honey Honey, AJ and the Jiggawatts, and W.O. Smith Music School: Camp Backbeat with appearances from Rebecca Rubion, .DNK,and Sabrina on the Lightning 100 Acoustic Stage; LAST CHANCE to get in on the Musician’s Corner for the summer, DON’T MISS THIS!
  • Tennessee Brew Works Block Party at Tennessee Brew Works from Noon to 8pm (FREE) – Sponsored by Lightning 100 and celebrating Craft Beer Week, this party will have all the goods: Food, Third Man Records, new brews, and live music featuring Guthrie Brown & the Family Tree, Lulu Mae, AJ & the Jiggawatts, and DeRobert & the Half-Truths (dog-friendly).
  • The Strawberry Patch Summer Mart at 100 Taylor St. Nashville from 10am to 5pm ($5) – Over 30 artisans, food trucks, live music in Germantown
  • Yoga on Tap at 12th and Porter at 3pm ($20 students/$25 general) –  A DJ’d yoga class from 3-4pm
  • East Side Hootenanny at East Park at 4pm (FREE) – Don’t miss out on this year’s LAST East Side Hoot! Featuring Oliver and the Spectacles, EL EL, The Future, and Magnolia Sons
  • Nashville Scene’s 25th Birthday Bash in The Gulch at 6pm (GA FREE; VIP $45) – Featuring live music from Alanna Royale and My So Called Band; food trucks and alcohol obviously. Benefitting Nashville Cares!
  • Nashville Venom vs Trenton Freedom at Municipal Auditorium at 7pm (Prices vary)
  • 12th & Broad’s Music City Hairball at the War Memorial Auditorium at 8pm (Tickets start at $30) – Hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, silent auction, “Hair as Art” runway show, and hair. LOTS of hair. Don’t be ashamed to rock your best look to snag the best dressed King and Queen titles!
  • Guilty Pleasures at Mercy Lounge at 9pm ($15) – Get ready for some MJ, Hall & Oates, Steve Miller Band, Toto, Lionel Richie; This could go on a while… Epic 80’s covers. Grab your shoulder pads and parachute pants!
  • The Boom Bap at The 5 Spot at 9pm ($10) – Get your dance on.
