AMOT Eatery – Located in East Nashville, this restaurant offers a wide selection of gluten-free and veggie friendly options.  While the vegetarian in your life will be happy, they’ve also got meat on the menu for those who just can’t live without it. Avo – Located in West Nashville off of Charlotte Avenue, Avo is not for the occasional vegan. It’s entirely plant-based menu is raw (and cold) meaning that “noodles” may be made of zucchini, and “cheese” may be made of nuts. But if you’re not a vegan, don’t let that scare you away! Grins Vegetarian Cafe – Located on Vanderbilt’s campus, Grins offers a variety of regular menu items with vegan options. This restaurant offers casual vegetarian options, substituting meat for beans or tofu as protein and featuring 100% Kosher items. Check their website for daily specials and note that they’re closed on weekends!

Sunflower Cafe – Located in Berry Hill, this café features tons of vegan and gluten free menu items, with daily chef specials that will make your mouth water. Order online, catered, in store, or a la carte to create your perfect veggie-friendly meal. If you’re in the mood for a savory burger, Sunflower Café has a major assortment!

The Wild Cow – Located in East Nashville, this vegetarian and vegan friendly restaurant does its best to source most of its food locally. The Wild Cow not only works to keep its patrons healthy and happy, it also features a new charity each month that it donates 10% of its profits to every first Thursday. Woodlands Indian Vegetarian Cuisine – Located on West End near 440, this restaurant is putting an Indian spin on vegetarian food. Forget the lamb and the chicken – get the best flavors of Indian food on all of the culturally classic dishes with their meatless menu. With the variety and depth of a menu like this, you won’t leave feeling hungry for more! Note that they’re closed on Monday and they have free valet parking!

Vegan Vee – Located in Sylvan Park, this gluten-free and vegan bakery will satisfy that sweet tooth without cheating your diet. Vegan Vee offers baked goods, raw desserts, gluten-free bread, and chocolate, ensuring that their ingredients are organic and vegan. If you’re in need of sweets for a special occasion without the guilt of gluten, this bakery will have just want you need! Note that they’re closed on Sunday & Monday and are open in the morning hours.
